Working with An Post, Transend developed specifications for delivery production management systems. With Deloitte Consulting, we also assessed business performance, position, processes and marketing functions to identify where savings or improvements could be made.

In a separate assignment as part of an Indecon/London Economics proposal, Transend undertook a review of the mail processing operation to evaluate and recommend options to improve service quality. Latterly, Transend has reviewed courier operations to formulate strategic options for improving business performance. A Transend executive, who was charged with successfully introducing a contractor fleet in Dublin, was subsequently appointed to manage the courier operations. Transend also completed a mail processing review for An Post and then developed a new shift work programme.
